Free preview, accounts and unlocking streams
The first 10 minutes of streams are free on each device, without an account. To count them we set a functional device cookie (HttpOnly, valid for one year) that holds a random identifier. We store that identifier with the minutes you watched, the IP address of your first visit and the network range it belongs to (its first three numbers for IPv4, its first four blocks for IPv6), which we use to limit how many free previews one network can start per day. We also keep a random restore code in your browser storage (localStorage and IndexedDB) so that your device is recognised, and your remaining minutes are kept, if the cookie is removed. Clearing the cookie alone therefore does not start a new preview; clearing all site data does. A device that used up its free preview gets a new one 48 hours after the last minute was counted.
After the free preview you create an account with your first name, email address and password, then complete an offer from our partner CPAGrip, which unlocks every stream for 30 days (you can repeat it). While you are logged in we keep you signed in with two HttpOnly cookies (a session cookie and a refresh cookie, valid for up to 7 days) that are removed when you log out. The offer is shown and run by CPAGrip, a third party that applies its own privacy policy; we only receive a confirmation that the offer was completed, together with your account identifier.
Nothing from CPAGrip loads until you click "Show offers". That click loads a script from CPAGrip's domain, which can set its own cookies and sees your IP address. We send your account identifier to CPAGrip as a tracking id so that it can tell us which account completed the offer.
If your email address looks deliverable, we add it with your first name to our mailing list and use it solely to notify you about upcoming matches and streams. We use MailWizz, a third-party email delivery service, as our data processor to send these emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, which you can use at any time to stop receiving these emails and be removed from the list. To delete your account, please contact us.
